Well, if you avoid eating for long enough, the problem will solve itself.

      Not according to these guys:

      www.breatharian.com/

so if you hate food then why join a group that talks extensively about it. Trolling are we?

Don't feed the troll. lol He doesnt like it. The only thing I hate about food is that so much of it is hydrogenated and genetically modified now days. Like 80%? And I hate that we have so much food in this country that it's hard to decide what to eat. We are in like food heaven. Yeah everything costs way too much. But I know people that immigrated here from other countries and they were floored when they entered a grocery story in this country. I have a friend from Russia tell me years ago when she & her husband first came here and went into the store that her husband started crying. He just stood and stared at everything in disbelief. He couldnt believe that one store could have EVERYTHING like we do here. She said he seriously asked her to assure him that she was there with him. That it wasnt just a dream. That story always makes me remember to try to appreciate and have gratitude for how good we have it here. Even though life is full of problems and can suck major donkey balls alot of the time. At least we can have our drug of choice. FOOD!!!! Yeah Baby!!! Mmm.

I'm hungry now. Anyone got a spare steak? How bout some Alaskan King Crab Legs? Mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a tribe for anorexia?

I'm sure there is, I just hope it is a healthy one.
Yes, we are so spoiled in this country we really don't understand how good we have it. Problems yes but life does not come without problems.
I love food but food doesn't love me. Diabeties sometimes takes the pleasure out of it for me.
          But I still love food.

wow. i checked out the website, blue. ... that guy really does live in another world, doesnt he? i suppose its a good idea just sucking up ones breath, its easier fitting thru the portals, tho i dont suppose eating ones words would make too much of a tummy. .. i, personally adore food, and am happy that mother earth supplies me with so many yummy varieties.. i'm sorry you hate food, me, i mean me-you [sounds like a cat got in] anyway, maybe you have an intestinal blockage, and the reflux is putting a foul taste in your mouth? i mean, i dont mean to pry, but do you have a backside that opens? you seem a bit round, if you know what i mean, and come to think of it, that yellow glow you have might be jaundice..... oh blue, i'm new to tribe....what does trolling mean?

beverly - Not terribly surprisingly, the main proponent of breatharianism got caught scarfing down greasy, meaty (cow) burgers. I guess it *is* much easier and more profitable to run a cult if you convince people they need nothing, including food, and that their possessions are preventing them from reaching spiritual liberation and slipping through the eye of god's needle. Starvation makes people nice and weak and muddled and pliable...

hi fifi-yah, i went to that web-site - scarey to think that some poor lambs actually get pulled into that very twisted mind game.. did that guy really get busted scoffing burgers? lordy, thats funny! ..... mr m, i honestly dont know what trolling means, i am beverly joy, my cute kitty alt y-rnth reflects my own little pussycat bela, and i've seen comments from you before, and you appear to be an angry man. i am an ill woman who does not physically handle stress well [lyme disease] so i hope that you dont direct your anger towards me. the immediate outcome would be just what you would want . . . i and my cat will leave.... but is that really deep down what you want? anger usually means there's a lot of pain and heartache inside. i am truly sorry for that. i wish you well......sorry folks for interjecting this unrelated reality, but i really like clarity and communication... peace?

beverly - Yes, it is funny :-)

A troll is someone who posts in chat rooms and message boards with the intention of annoying people, they're very intentionally fishing for conflict and internet drama. Though, a lot of the time people online resort to calling each other trolls just because they disagree. For example, posting "I hate food" in a tribe obviously dedicated to food and frequented by people who like the stuff and maybe even love it is obviously someone trying (rather lamely) to be provocative. Think 12 or 13 year old boy and you're there (regarding the prank mentality, it's kinda like peeing in the juice and then giggling when someone has a glass....or throwing bricks at cars off the overpass...getting a sense of personal power through random acts of irritation :-) Of course, some of the people who troll are adults and their language may be more sophisticated but their general aim is pretty much the same. Hope that description helps somewhat.

Perhaps our little troll should start a tribe of his/her own. I'm sure a troll tribe would be very amusing to read for those of us mature enough to use these tribes in a more adult fashion. ME's hating food comment reminds me of my niece when she's being petulant and stomping her foot. It's hard not to laugh sometimes at her display, and I found myself chuckling at ME's display when it was first posted.

Can you "kill" a troll with kindness? Maybe we should all leave our favorite recipes for him/her as gifts.

beverly I think what you said is kind of bs. And that isnt directing hate towards you. It's just stating a fact. You are stating the way you see things. Expressing your view. I'm saying I disagree with your synopsis. You have lyme disease. I'm a heart patient. Hey. We all have problems right? I prefer to be friends with people actually beverly. Just try to pay attention to who youre friends are and what they are doing. It's funny how I am labeled the angry bad / sad / hurt / etc... person when I merely respond to a couple of trolls very outspoken in the past. If you want to pretend I'm some bad person and feel victimized feel free. Lyme disease or not I would have no choice but to think youre full of it.

thank you fifi !!! now i know..

and darned if i didnt wiki 'troll' to see what they like to eat [that IS what we're here for] and google starts out with the web lingo definition! but i struck paydirt, and have found the perfect meal for the troll ''me'' for wik's def says throwing wrenches [or did they say wenches?] into a happy tribes gears is trolling. anyway, i digress...

the meal is some nice farmers cheese mixed with corriander, slathered over honey-crusted peasant bread, popped under the broiler till bubbley and brown....

        my reference is:

In Skáldskaparmál, poet Bragi Boddason encounters a troll-woman: They call me Troll; GNAWER OF THE MOON, Giant of the Gale-blasts, Curse of the rain-hall, Companion of the Sibyl, Nightroaming hag, SWALLER OF THE LOAF OF HEAVEN. What is a Troll but that? :
        fr wikpedia.com

Heywood's Proverbes (1546): "The MOON is made of a greene CHEESE ," greene, new, unaged. fr straightdope.com

The food sent to the Isrealites’ in the desert:.. fell during the night [obviously from HEAVEN, my deduction] in small white flakes or grains …. resembling coriander seed and bdellium, with a taste like "flour with honey", or "BREAD tempered with oil" . fr newadvent.org

        there you have it

I think we're having too much fun with this post for it to be considered successful trolling. It reminds me of Gargamel (sp?) losing to the Smurfs. La, la, la, la, la, la.......

Um... yeah well i love food. when i was younger i especially did not like going to the bathroom however. so i boycotted food and drank as little amount of liquid as possible. i thought that if i was going to waste that much time going to the restroom, well, maybe i could just... not. or as infrequently as possible.

so, after a while, make a day or so, i got really hungry and pretty dehydrated. not quite enough to make it an emergency. but one thing you must know is that i was a pretty big stoner at the time, so the cotton mouth and munchies really put a damper on my plan. ha ha ha

    good times

er, and my posting doesn't work, apparently.

        OKay, Food is great.
Even though my bf is a celiac sufferer, food is still rad.

        That's all. I said my piece. I agree. Whoo-hoo!
        Positivity and light.

Oh yeah, and my personal pear martini recipe... if anyone's interested:
In a martini shaker, over ice:
        3 count pear vodka
        2 count pear brandy
2 count squeeze of agave nectar
        1/2 lemon
        1 tsp organic sugar.
Rim glass with organic sugar, two slices of FROZEN (yes, frozen) organic pear, sliced. Mmm.
shake mixture, pour into martini glass rimmed with sugar and garnished with pear.
        Enjoy.

I'm not a martini drinker, but that sounds good. So, you think the troll is following all this? ;-)
